The new Contour XL is a fantastic new addition to the Contour range featuring extra wide dimensions for the larger person (who said 'Stanetta'??) or for those who just need more room for comfort. It has the same properties and temperature ratings of the Contour 1900 and so will ensure great comfort at a sensible price. The Contour range is a traditional rectangular range of
sleeping bags with three different insulation weights of Isofill filling for 2 to 3 season usage. Excellent for general family use and nicely colour coded to match all
Outwell tents (and most other brands as well). These bags feature a new 'two separate zip system' which enables a LH and RH bag to be zipped together while still providing optimal foot air circulation as well as the possibility of using the bag as a duvet. The bags also have built-in pillows for comfort which can be zipped off for use as a cushion. The filling throughout the Contour XL is 1200g Isofill hollow fibre for maximum warmth along with a soft polycotton lining, brushed flannel pillow area for that luxury feel and a soft but durable 230T Polyester Microfibre outer shell. Each bag in the range has a two-layer off-set construction to reduce cold spots and provide good temperature ratings. Other details include, full length zip baffles, anti-snag zip guard, inside mesh pocket and square pack sack for storage.
