This Pro-Force Forces 66 litre rucksack in British DPM (DPM is an acronym for Disruptive Pattern Material which is the commonly used name of a camouflage pattern used by British Forces as well many other armies worldwide, particularly in former British colonies) is from their core range of rucksacks and are popular due to the solid design made from tough and durable 1000D XTP polyester fabric which is triple PU coated for protection in extreme weather conditions.
The Forces 66 has four polyurethane layers which makes it extremely durable and long lasting. The XTP fabric is woven from specially textured polyester yarns which ensure improved abrasion, punctures and tearing resistance as well as maximum water resistance and does not become ridged in cold conditions, but remains supple, so the usage is not effected.
Access to the interior is through the top lid (hood) which has a drawcord snow collar and closure straps with top quality, Duraflex branded quick release buckles making it safe and secure. For items you may want to access more quickly there are two zipped side pockets with protective storm covers. There is also a zipped pocket in the hood, which is great for storing maps. If you need even more storage area then items can be attached to a number of nylon straps, as well as sewn-in webbing and D-rings on both shoulder straps. There is also an elastic bungee cord on a top lid (hood) for attaching items such as sleeping mats and bags.
The pack is ergonomically designed for comfort and with adjustable padded back system and shoulder straps, along with the chest strap, ensures a secure fit as well.
