For the new Yukon River Range, Outwell has taken the design and construction of their old Minnesota range of tents and introduced to it their Airtech polycotton flysheet in a rich Mocca colour. The advantages of a polycotton flysheet is that it provides a cooler internal climate and is inherently more breathable than polyester. While it is also significantly heavier than polyester, it is arguably more durable, and makes for a quieter internal living environment, especially in windy conditions. The Outwell Yukon River 4 is similar to the Minnesota 4 and utilizes an external steel pole construction with a single Duratec firbreglass rain-safe pole over the porch area. The living space measures a very generous 3.15x2.3m with zip-in/out groundsheet, a U-shaped side door, full panel front door and a large panoramic window.
