The new Vango Zenith 200 will tick so many boxes for serious trekkers. With a single hoop design, the Zenith 200 offers a lightweight structure (2.1kg) with a compact pack size (44x12cm). Despite that, it still offers a generous side porch - vital for rucksack storage and for boiling up a brew.
The Vango Zenith 200 is pitched flysheet first or as one. The flysheet is a Protex 70D polyester with taped seams and 5000mm hydrostayic head waterproof protection. The flysheet also has two doors built into it so the occupants can enter the tent on their own side.
The inner is a highly breathable polyester to make for a restful nights sleep. At 124cm it is purposely narrow to minimise weight but still allows comfortable top-to-toe sleeping. The base of the inner is 70D lightweight polyester which helps keep the total weight of the tent down to the minimum.
There are small upright poles at the head and foot of the tent that create an additional volume of space for head and feet. In storm conditions, the Zenith 200 comes into its own with its wind shedding tapered design plus the internal TBS (Tension band System) which can be deployed to increases the tent's stability.
