The Michigan 8 replaces the 2010 Michigan XL and receives a number of key new features, the major one of which is the upgrade of the flysheet from 3000mm hydrostatic head to 4000mm hydrostatic head. The Michigan 8 design features four main exterior steel poles to form the 'tunnel', a further steel pole to form the porch area and Outwell's Space Frame internal criss-cross poles in the roof space to create the large living area 'dome'. The Michigan 8 features 2 large 4+4 sleeping compartments that can sleep up to 8 people in total. Each of the bedrooms features Universal inner tents and so the sleeping accommodation is entirely flexible to suit your needs. There's a large living area (2.8x2.65m) with great head height (great for keepy-uppy) plus a much wider and deeper porch than you see on most dome tents making it really useable work or relaxation space. Other key features include D-shaped doors with mesh panels on the inner tents, large windows with adjustable toggle-up curtains, strategically situated skylight, large front entrance and rear entrance doors, a fully sewn-in polyethylene groundsheet with detachable groundsheet in the porch area.
