With only minimal tweaks in 2012, the Vangp Spectre 300 has been left largely unchanged for this season. Still minimalist in every way; weight, pack size and price, this gem of a tent matches all the requirements of a back packer or cycle tourer on a budget - but crucially without compromising on the quality and attributes you would expect from a Vango product. The Vango Spectre 300 can sleep 3 people (in top to toe formation) and features a side door opening and a three alloy pole construction. The flysheet is Protex HC 5000 68D polyester with 5000mm HH of waterproof protection. The groundsheet is Polyester 6000mm HH. The inner tent is breathable polyester with part mesh door and can remain permanently fixed in the tent for convenient all-in-one pitching. The tent also features the TBS II Tension Band System to ensure the tent performs in high winds. The colour coded poles are tried and tested Powerlite 7001-T6 alloy poles for both strength and flexibility.
Other features include; rain stop flysheet door, pre-attached guylines, adjustable tensioning and pegging system, flysheet vents at front and rear, zipped storage area, repair kit and stuff sac with compression straps, reflective external webbing, walking pole eyelet in door, reflective external zip pullers and 'O' ring guylines to help reduce the number of individual guy lines required. 10 minutes pitchtime.
