The Vango Spectre 300 has received some changes for 2010 with the reduction in the length of the pack size - specifically with cyclists in mind and the addition of a second side door for in/out on both sides. The Vango Spectre 300 tent is minimalist in every way (it visits the Tate Modern regularly); weight, pack size and price, this gem of a tent matches all the requirements of a back packer on a budget - but crucially without compromising on the quality and attributes you would expect from a Vango product. The Spectre 300 can sleep 3 people (top to tail) and features a side door opening and three alloy poles to form a Vango classic tunnel shape. The flysheet is Protex 3000 durable, UV resistant polyester with a PU 5000HH groundsheet both with fully taped seams. The tent also features the TBS Tension Band System to ensure the tent performs in high winds. The inner is polyester mesh with water repellent finish which will keep out mosquitoes and keep condensation to a minimum. The colour coded poles are tried and tested Powerlite alloy poles for both strength and flexibility. Other features include; pre-attached guylines, adjustable tensioning and pegging system, flysheet vents at front and rear, mesh inner door, zipped storage areas to both front and rear, inner pockets and gear loft, repair kit and stuff sac with compression straps, reflective external webbing, reflective external zip pullers and 'O' ring guylines to help reduce the number of individual guy lines required.
