The majority of tent manufacturers now produce tent carpets for their mid sized family tents and large sized family tents and are now a very popular tent accessory. Putting a tent carpet down in the living area of your tent gives you the benefits of warmth, comfort, noise dampening and softness under foot!
Tent carpets are usually made with a hard-wearing soft felt or woven polyester surface and a waterproof PVC backing on the underside.
These branded tent groundsheets or footprint groundsheets have been produced by the tent manufacturers to specifically fit underneath each of their tent models. Footprint groundsheets protect the sewn-in groundsheet from getting dirty or damaged.
Tent footprint groundsheets are made with either a durable polyethylene or nylon and are fully waterproof. Footprint groundsheets are a labour saving, essential addition to your tent package.
