  • Amazing! 28th September 2012 55 I built my own big tent... this supports it easy in the worst conditions... even in a force four gale. I am a lightweight camping fan, but I like the comfort of a stand up tent and wind doen after a long mornings walking... at 0.5 kg each they were just right and I found nothing else to come close, they are extremely strong ^_^

from essexUnverified@steveien Great review, Robens telescopic pole for tarp is a varsatile, strong yet lightweight and handy bit of kit.
  • Poor quality piece of kit 14th June 2012 15 I purchased a couple of these for propping up tarp. Sadly, I had to return them as they're not fit for purpose. In fact, they didn't twist into position more than once and on that one occasion they weren't even stable. It's a shame as they are nice and lightweight and sturdy in their standalone form.
