  • No more bad back 11th May 2013 55 I was fed up of waking up with a bad back so talked my husband into buying camp beds, I saw this and thought it was perfect, it is quite long so we just didn't put up the pod so we had loads of space. We used 2 of the roll up mattresses and covered it with a cheap mattress protector from dunelm, we had a great nights sleep well worth the money and I wish I had bought it ages ago, far more civilised way of camping. My camping friends were all jealous

  • Fantastic 24th June 2012 55 After looking for a double folding camp bed, found this. Very comfortable but you need to check the straps underneath after the first night whenever you use it. Also need 2 people to put it up. Overall a great bit of kit.

  • Great night's sleep 10th May 2012 45 We switched from airbeds to these beds for the whole family for camping and are very happy with our choice. We place self inflating mattresses on the beds for extra comfort and all sleep great. The beds feel very solid and stable. Great buy!

  • All the comfort of indoors outdoors 17th August 2011 55 This is an awesome product, opens up and folds in seconds, compact when packed away. Very comfortable, the attached pillows are a great idea, well constructed. My wife and I used it on our last camping holiday, 6 nights. As well as the above mentioned pros, it was easy to get in and out of bed, no more crawling around on the ground or a partially inflated air bed, no aches and pains in the morning. Being off the ground kept us warmer too. Another plus is, you can stow your gear underneath to save valuable floor space in the tent. Great value for money. The bar that runs up the middle of the bed may not be to some people's liking. It does stop sagging in the middle though. If you fancy a kiss and a cuddle, just occupy 1 side.

  • More reliable than an air bed 13th August 2011 45 This is very sturdy and each side of the bed was wide enough for us to sleep without bumping into each other. There is a metal bar down the middle but we covered it with blankets etc and it was ok.We used thermarests on top of the canvas. This makes it quite expensive of course but very snug! I was sceptical as it was my husband who chose this bed. I am now a convert

  • Robust, comfortable and no sea sickness! 13th August 2011 45 Fed up with buying expensive airbeds that deflate overnight and cause sea-sickness when partner sits on the edge getting dressed, we bought this as an alternative and are very pleased with it so far. It's proved very comfortable and the quality of materials used seem very high quality. It unfolds very easily and setting up takes less than a minute. Folding up again is just as easy. Another advantage over and airbed is that use can use the space underneath as additional storage area. Only comment would be that by it's very nature, on colder nights,if not in a sleeping bag you can get cold due to the the air underneath. We bought a couple of cheap insulated camping mats and that's sorted. Overall, Very pleased and would recommend

  • Excellent!! 13th June 2011 55 Got this after being "let down" yet again by our very expensive airbed.Really wish I had got one of these camp beds sooner. Its so nice to be able to get in and out of bed easily, unlike an airbed.Very Very comfy, we have put self inflating mats on top and its gorgeous.[...] Would highly recommend this bed to anyone.

  • A Tip if You want to consider this.... 11th June 2011 45 Great product, and does not give up on you like most airbeds, and lasts a LONG time. A tip: Sleeping on a sheet of canvas is COLD... buy some cheap foam mats too and put them on top under your sleeping bags and You can't beat this type of bed. Yes there's the painful bar in the middle and this one's not too wide, it's a matter of time beore someone thinks of an Ingenious solution to make these beds Wider and without a middle bar.....

  • Highly recommended 24th May 2011 55 We bought this as a replacement for an expensive airbed that had developed a leak. What a revelation sleeping on this campbed has been. It is so comfy and it's wonderful being able to get in and out of bed without the need to crawl about on the floor. Only downside is the bar in the middle but is a small sacrifice to get a comfy nights sleep

  • Good choice 13th April 2011 45 We chose this camp bed to double as a both a step-up from a lilo for camping, and also as an occasional guest bed. It was easy to set up, is strong enough to inspire confidence (despite a few initial concerning squeaks)and proclaimed comfortable by two sets of guests who have used it so far. We're looking forward to trying out in the tent very soon. The only slight niggle is that the middle strut makes it more like two singles side by side than a double, but over all it's good value and we're happy with the choice.
