Outwell Polycotton Tarp

The Outwell Polycotton Tarp has been produced to compliment the Outwell Classic Range of polycotton tents and will now also match the Smart Air range of polycotton inflatable tents.

Ideal for use as a shade or shelter, the Outwell Tarp is tall enough to be pitched over your tent, in front of it or just on its own. The two accompanying upright alloy poles (2.3m high) provide many possibilities for producing a pleasant area of shade from the sun or as a shelter from the rain.

The Tarp itself is 3.5m x 3.5m and is made from Outwell's luxurious Outtex Airtech polycotton tent fabric in the new Oil Green colourway. Oil Green is the only colour being produced for 2012.

Features of the Outwell Polycotton Tarp include:

  • Luminous pre-attached guylines
  • Spring-linked 22mm alloy poles
  • Outtex Airtech flysheet

  • Perfect Tarp 18th September 2013 55 Bought to provide a waterproof area in front of our Outwell Indian Lake tent which it does very well. We usualy hang one end from the porch door using just one pole. Matches the tent perfectly.

    • Car Camping
from WiganVerified Purchaser@Rob Outwell polycotton tarps as with all tarps are now becoming a must have for the thoughtful camper, easy to fit , lots of shelter and a great value for money.
  • Very poor in windy conditions 11th September 2013 25 Tarp is water proof and lightweight, but the shape and pole arrangements means that it is hopeless if there is any slight wind. The design is poor and more poles would be needed to give the tarp the support to be considered sturdy. The tarp shape means that it acts like a sail and within minutes the tarp had taken off and pulled out the pegs from the ground. Poor work Outwell (your tents are great), but your tart is useless.

from CoventryVerified Purchaser@Cornish Pasty Tarps like gazebos are very much intended to be a fine weather sun/rain shelter, the very nature of the shape ie no walls would indicate that they will move about in any wind.
