The Outwell Oakland XL has been improved for the 2012 season and some new accessories introduced for it that will ensure it remains one of the most popular tents in Outwell's Deluxe Range. The major improvement for this seaosn is the introduction of a Rain-Save pole over the side doorway which means that rain will not drip into the tent even with the side door fully open. The Oakland XL has a great layout, ample living and sleeping space, is fully enclosed with a sewn-in groundsheet and comes at a reasonable price. The fully protected living space measures a generous 3.5 x 3.0m and features a front panel door (which can be propped open to form a sun canopy) as well as the side Rain-Save Door (mentioned earlier) and multiple windows which allow in a massive amount of light (great for raves). The living space also features a fully sewn-in double coated polyethylene groundsheet to ensure all of the elements are kept at bay. The tent is designed to sleep 5 people and so the bedroom features a 3+2 universal inner tent, one half of which can be detached and folded away if not being used.
