The Outwell Glendale 5 Tent is repeated in 2013 in the new, vibrant Foliage Green/Granite Green colourway that has been applied to all of Outwell’s Deluxe Tents.
At first glance the Glendale 5 tent may look like any other tunnel tent but in actuality it is much longer and wider such that proportions are closer to that of huge steel poled tents like the Vermont LP. In fact the Glendale 5 has a hybrid frame - part steel and part fibreglass that allows for it generous proportions while also keeping the weight and bulkiness of the tent to a minimum.
The Outwell Glendale 5 is essentially a three room tunnel tent with a versatile 2+3 berth sleeping compartment – which can be opened up to a full 5-person bedroom or one half of the inner removed if not in use. The main living space measures a very generous 3.6x2.8m and features a fully sewn-in groundsheet and a side entrance door.
Through a dividing doorway is a fully enclosed porch area which itself offers plenty of additional space to relax, dine or establish your kitchen area. This area has a detachable groundsheet for ease of cleaning.
There's a large canopy style front doorway which can be rolled up or propped out to form a sun canopy (porch poles not provided). Another feature are the multiple large windows throughout which allow in a massive amount of light but also feature adjustable toggle-up curtains (ideal for strippers) to adjust the light/privacy levels.
Other key features of the Outwell Glendale 5 include:
- Mesh vents above the main windows
