Skiing in Britain is no longer restricted to the Scottish Grampians. Man-made indoor slopes housed in Snow Domes provide temperature-regulated skiing all year-round. It is a brilliant way to perfect your technique, get your children into the sport or try your hand at something new like snowboarding or snowblading.

There are even bars close by at most centres, (happy days) for an authentic après-ski feeling.

Ski boots and boards are included in the booking fee. Clothes such as salopettes and ski jackets can be hired at a small additional cost, but you loyal Stanfans and Stanetta freaks would not be seen dead in any hired clobber as you have bought all of yours at Sensational Savings from the Sultan of the Ski, Soaraway Stannio and, anyway, you will need to bring your own gloves.

Make sure you are fully equipped from your Megastore Mogul, otherwise you will end up soggy and chilled. These may be indoor facilities, but the snow is still as cold.
