Motorhome Awnings
With the increasing desire not to be tied to one place for too long, so the demand for motorhomes has increased and with it the need for motorhome awnings. Motorhome awnings can attach to your motorhome in three different ways; using a pole and clamp system; using a Kadar gusset with figure of 8 strips or simply by throwing guylines from the awning over the top of your van and securing on the opposite side.
Motorhome awnings are designed not be too heavy or bulky and are easy and quick to erect. They are also designed to be free-standing so that you are able to drive away your motorhome and leave the awning standing as though it was a regular tent. These drive away awnings all have a connecting door to you vehicle and so once you’ve driven away this connecting doorway can be zipped up and secured to protect any possessions left in the awning.
Motorhome awnings come in a vast array of shapes and sizes and have different levels of sophistication. The smaller awnings like the Easy Camp Daytona and the Sunncamp Aspect are great for the storage of kid's toys, bikes, kayaks, wet or muddy gear or for housing the dog(s). However a large number now have built-in or optional inner tents that allow you to add extra sleeping accommodation to you motorhome.
