Revised for 2008, the Vango Typhoon replaces the old Vango Storm. Simple to pitch, portable and stable, these semi-geodesic, alloy poled tents have large storage/cooking areas and secure sleeping accommodation. They are also very stable and ideal for all season use, backpacking or general camping. For poor weather performance the Typhoon features a Protex TPU-RP3000 durable taffeta polyester flysheet with HD Nylon 5000 groundsheet both with fully taped seams. The colour coded poles are tried and tested Powerlite 7001-T6 alloy poles for both strength and flexibility. The twin entrance doors and the transverse inner tent mean the tent offers a sheltered entry in poor weather conditions. The features are rounded off with 'Crystal Clear' windows (so you can clearly blimp the shower block) on porch, flysheet vents, mesh vents on the breathable ripstop polyester inner tent and adjustable flysheet attachment.
