The Rab Active Range uses Hyperlite DWR outer shell with abrasion resistant Hyperlite DWR contrast shoulder and outside arm fabric. The lining is also Hyperlite with an elasticated lumbar draft stopper. The fill remains 85% European duck down to produce a high quality down jacket suitable for all but the most extreme conditions. The price, smooth looks and well thought out features also makes this the choice for winter urban wear. The jacket features a full-length YKK zip (with anti-snag baffle) for easy cooling, and a scooped back for lumber warmth (does this mean you fill the scoop with firewood?). The Women's version has a more contoured shape and styling contrast than the men's version.

Other features include two external pockets, secure zipped internal pocket, and adjustable drawcord hem with one-handed toggle adjustment. The down fill is 260g of 85% Duck down (watch your head) (560+ Fill Power) in a Stitch Through construction. Total weight: 650g.
