The Oakland Range of tunnel tents is new for the 2010 season. The Oakland M is for a small family (or couples) on a short getaway or a touring trip where a quick up-down-and-away is required. Although much smaller than the larger Oakland XL and L, the M still offers ample head (so does Stanetta) height for such a small tent and no mean living space at 1.9 x 2.4m. Off the living space is the sole canopy door to the front with two side windows to let plenty of light in. The bedroom space features a pre-attached 3-berth single room inner tent. The living space also features a fully sewn-in double coated polyethylene groundsheet to ensure all of the elements are kept at bay. Other key features include, excellent ventilation, mesh pockets in the inner tents, cable entry point, lamp holder and cable tidies and 'O' shaped stowable inner tent door. The technical features include one set of 19/22mm steel poles plus 11mm Duratec fibreglass poles; flysheet first or all as one pitching; an Outtex 3000 flysheet (a fire retardant polyester based material of 3000mm hydrostatic head) double stitched with taped seams; double-coated polyethylene sewn-in groundsheet, nylon carry bag; adjustable pegging points; Outwell doormat; pre-attached luminous guy lines; Outwell heavy duty zips; guy line retainers.
