The Idaho range is new for 2008 and is set to become the new flagship (talk to each other in semaphore) product line. These tents feature a much wider porch and living space area than most conventional tents by virtue of Outwell's newly introduced Space Frame System (a fiberglass crossover pole arrangement in the roof space). The other striking features of these new tents are the positions of the bedrooms which are located at either end of the tent but are accessed via a standing height corridor rather than opening out into the living space like most tents. These corridors (or bays) are equipped with a hanging bar and multi-storage pockets and can be curtained off to form a completely private dressing room or storage area. The Idaho's also feature large panoramic windows which each have new bottom-up curtains which extend upwards to half or full-height, allowing the full eye-level benefit of the panorama windows from the inside yet ensuring the degree of privacy you want from the outside. Finally the tents feature sewn-in groundsheets in the living space and a detachable 'bathtub' groundsheet in the porch area. Two doors also add to the flexibility; one a large panel door to the front and double roll-back doors to the rear. The Idaho XL sleeps 8 people in two 4-berth inners.
