The Petworth was formerly known at the XL Excelsior (Trying saying that with your teeth out) similar in nearly every aspect to the Chatsworth/XL Classic except that the head height in the living space is a massive 235cm and that also means more head height in the bedroom too. The Petworth will also comes with all the other updates to the Khyam Ridgi-Dome range, most notably the introduction or sewn-in groundsheets. The fabric is 2oz polyester but is still 185T double coated, flame retardant with taped seams giving a hydrostatic head of 3000mm. The main pole construction is aluminium with fibreglass roof poles and a pair of steel porch poles supplied for propping open the front door. These tents come complete with a 4-berth poly/cotton inner tent which has a divider. Apart from the main front door there is also a side 'J' door and 3 large window panels. Finally, after years of appearing in the classic Khyam burgundy and then green, the colourway for the Petworth has been updated to a striking Mid-Blue/Dark Blue with Grey trim.
